A shared family organiser

Every family runs on paper.

School newsletters, sports cards, a note stuck to the fridge. Cadent Family puts it all in one place — photograph a schedule and it becomes calendar entries you approve, on everyone's phone at once.

Coming first to Android. Not yet in any store — we'll email you the day it's ready.

Cadent Family month calendar on a phone, showing colour-coded events for a sample family across the weeks of a month

Why “Cadent”?

ca·dent · /ˈkeɪd(ə)nt/ · adjective

Falling in a regular rhythm — from the Latin cadere, “to fall,” the same root as cadence. A cadence is the steady beat a thing moves to.

Every household has one: practices and pickups, dinners and bedtimes, the week's recurring shape. Cadent Family helps you keep it — together, on everyone's phone.

What it does — and only what it does

The app proposes; you decide. Every point below is built and working.

Photograph a paper schedule

It reads dates, times and repeats, and shows you what it found before anything is added.

Nothing added without you

Every event it suggests is reviewed first. You approve the ones you want, one by one.

Private when it needs to be

Not every appointment is family business. Mark an event for everyone, just you, or a chosen few.

Parents see their kids' schedules

Grown-ups keep their own privacy from each other, while a child's day stays visible to their parents.

Everyone stays in step

Add or change something and it appears on everyone's phone automatically — no refreshing, no re-sending.

More than a calendar

One shared shopping list and a chore chart the whole household can see and update.

Snap a schedule, skip the typing

Photograph a school newsletter or a sports card and the app reads it into events — repeats and all. Nothing lands on your calendar until you review and approve it. The app proposes; you decide.

A real screen recording, narrated. It plays on a loop, muted until you turn the sound on.

A look inside

Real screens from the app, using an invented sample family. No mock-ups.

The schedule-import review list: events read from a photographed sports card, each with a checkbox to approve before it is added to the calendar

The Today screen with a friendly greeting and the sample family's upcoming events for the day
Today, at a glance
The theme gallery: light and dark looks above a shelf of theme packs, each card previewing the colours of that pack
Dress it in a look the whole family sees

Photograph the schedule. Approve what matters.

The hardest part of a shared calendar is typing everything in. Cadent Family reads a photo of a paper schedule for you — and then hands the decisions back to you.

Take a photo

Snap the school newsletter, the season card, the practice sheet — however it arrived.

It reads the dates

Cadent finds the dates, times and repeats, and shows you a plain list of what it found.

You approve

Nothing is added until you say so. Keep the events you want, drop the rest, then it's on everyone's phone.
